Responsibilities
The Support Services Supervisor shall be responsible for monitoring and supervising all of the administrative and operational functions as well as to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of Main One Cable Company in all the locations it operates within.
Specific responsibilities shall include the following:
Supervise the strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to general office administrative services, space management, event planning & management, office consumables and supplies, procurement and inventory, catering, security, office buildings and grounds maintenance.
Develop & maintain work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations.
Coordinate operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of office operations as well as the supply and effective distribution of office equipment and consumables for all departments and locations
Supervise administrative, clerical and secretarial functions by support staff within all MainOne offices.
Plan allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises.
Support the HSS on process management and to achieve financial objectives for the Unit by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Oversee procurement activities for all non-technical products and services, as well as ensure compliance with the Company’s procurement process.
Ensure the development and maintenance of a vendor and supplier database for the various products and services procured by the company – Supplier analysis & negotiations, supplier performance management.
Develop & maintain an inventory management system for all products utilized by the company.
Ensure compliance with established corporate standards and may be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates.
Assist with other tasks assigned as necessary to support the unit.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
BSc in Business Administration or related discipline
5 - 7 years of relevant experience with at least three years in supervisory role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Critical thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills
Self-motivated, self-driven, result oriented and pose excellent leadership qualities.
Natural problem-solver; willing to initiate and lead in unpredictable circumstances
Complete knowledge of administrative processes, office management systems/procedures and supervisory skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Computer literate with a practical experience using MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
