Mariteam Nigeria Limited - Our client, an Oil and Gas Service Company desirous of rendering qualitative operation & maintenance (O&M) services for offshore units and platforms operating in the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria requires qualified and suitable applicants for the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• The Storekeeper is to maintain accurate stock records and ensure availability of spares.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Establish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships; Control and Maintain Stock Levels Effectively; Maintain Stock Security and Safety; Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures; Emergency Response.

Experience/Competence

• 5 years’ experience in the Marine or Petroleum Industry, preferably FPSO experience;
• Experienced with PC-based maternal inventory control systems - AMOS preferred;
• Thorough understanding of material, purchasing and stock management procedures;
• Qualified to trade or technician level in a technical discipline; 3-5 years in marine or petroleum industry in technical discipline;
• Medically fit to offshore International standards suck as ENG1 or equivalent; Technical -Appropriate standard of technical and professional knowledge as defined by competences;
• Good numeracy and literacy;
• IT - Good familiarity with standard ‘Office’ software package. Operating system; Experienced operator of Computerized Stock Control software.
