We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Director, eLearning and Multimedia Development
Ref #: 607
Location: Nigeria
Position Summary
Teach For All’s Global Learning Lab seeks, supports and shares innovation from classrooms and communities that are ensuring all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential as leaders of a better future. We pursue that learning through cross-cultural collaboration among educators, students, families, researchers and social entrepreneurs across and beyond our network in marginalized communities around the world.
The Director of E-Learning & Multimedia will use e-learning platforms, audio/video editing, and our new website to create - in collaboration with Global Learning Lab colleagues - a rich array of virtual learning and sharing experiences that benefit educators and children around the world. Ideal candidates for this role will not only bring strong skills and experience in virtual learning and adult learning theory, but will also be a strong story-teller with deep commitment to educational equity. The person in this role will work across geographical, cultural and socio-political boundaries to stoke a powerful, meaningful and impactful exploration of transformational learning and leadership.
Outcomes
Success in this role means that the ideas and insights being surfaced by the Global Learning Lab are accessible, actionable and impactful in classrooms, teachers, students, and families in low-income communities around the globe, and that Teach For All is greatly improving its ability to catalyze learning and sharing across and beyond its network. That success will happen both because of the resources the person in this role helps produce and the multimedia and learning insights this person imparts to colleagues within the Global Learning Lab and Teach For All.
Because of this person’s efforts, more children - especially those born into historically marginalized and oppressed communities - will grow as leaders of a better future for themselves, their communities and all of us. Because of this person’s efforts, more teachers in our partner programs will grow into the high-impact agents of change their communities need to challenge and change the education system for sake of those children.
