Job Title: Cloud Platform Marketing Director
The market that Oracle is operating in has undergone massive changes. To become a leader in the cloud market, Oracle has to significantly increase our presence in the market. Marketing has a key role to play in building Oracle’s brand image as a Cloud vendor, and driving demand for our Cloud products.
We are looking for an experienced marketer with strong leadership skills to head-up the field marketing team for the South region, responsible for marketing PaaS, IaaS and Systems solutions to the Iberia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe region Named and Oracle Direct accounts.
As part of the EMEA Marketing team, this role involves working closely with key stakeholders including Sales VPs and their teams, Sales Development Managers, Digital Demand Generation, Oracle Direct, Field Marketing managers, Corporate and Product Marketing, Advertising, PR, Social Media, Operations, and Alliances & Channels.
You will operate a multicultural, geographically distributed team and report directly to the Technology Marketing VP.
Responsibilities
Managing the implementation of the integrated marketing communication plan across Iberia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe.
Drive awareness and demand for Oracle’s PaaS, IaaS and Systems products, particularly the Autonomous Cloud products.
Delivery the marketing KPIs for the region, including number of trials driven, increased account engagement, increased contactable customers in CxD, and increased and pipeline generated.
Lead a team geographically distributed across the region to deliver the required results, providing direction and mentoring to your team.
Form direct relationships with your key sales and Oracle Direct stakeholders, ensuring sales priorities are met within your marketing activities.
Work closely with other stakeholders that will help you meet your objectives e.g. the digital marketing team, BDG, customer marketing team, events team and social media team.
Define the marketing plan and manage budgets and scheduling
Oversee execution of the marketing plan.
Communicate regular progress updates to your key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
A strong track record driving pipeline and awareness in the EMEA Cloud market.
Business Acumen, Perceived as Sales Key Partner.
Driven, High Energy, Can-Do attitude
Strong influencer and relationship-building skills, great determination and drive, and excellent execution skills are required to ensure that you can deliver high return marketing plans and strategies.
Deep knowledge of Marketing and Sales disciplines and processes with a focus on Modern Marketing practices (Social Media, Digital/web, SEO/SEM, Marketing Automation, Content led Marketing, Inbound, Personas, Buyers journey, integration)
Spokesperson, Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
Data Driven and analytical.
Knowledge of PaaS and IaaS in the Cloud and the way to successfully market it.
Budget & Project Management skills.
Ability to navigate large, complex & matrixed organisations.
Ability to understand and deliver Oracle strategy.
Seniority to address Oracle Executives.
