Job Title: Marketing and Communications Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for committed staff who will complement our qualified workforce of seasoned educators
• The candidate will be responsible for organising and executing an educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications at a Degree level or above in a relevant field (in Marketing or in a degree that requires advanced communication)
• Must possess very high skills in both written and spoken English.

Qualifications & Specifications

• Experience of middle leadership in a British Curriculum school;
• Ability to actively manage relationships with advertisers, exhibitors and suppliers;
• Ability to develop and run with the school’s marketing and branding strategies;
• A proven track record of social media management;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels;
• A successful track record of making a positive difference in a related marketing role;
• Applicant must possess high levels of energy, drive and enthusiasm to cope with conflicting demands, must be of positive disposition and must seek to engender a fulfilling. working environment for others;
• Will have particular responsibility for the School’s online communications including the school website, its use of social media, creating digital and printed marketing material, and planning and fostering public relations;
• Coordinate the school year book, newsletter and prospectus materials;
• Produce marketing and communications material to support and promote events and schools liaison activity including termly promotional newsletters, with suitable professional photograph;
• Coordinate school’s Open Day programmes;
• Work in collaboration with the admissions team to promote and market Grange School to the wider community.

Requirements:

• Spoken and written English must be of a high standard
• Excellent IT skills
