Job Summary
To lead and oversee smooth functioning of the entire IT financial applications portfolio for IFFCO, thus ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and availability of all IT financial services, while optimizing costs of providing the services
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for all finance enabled IT processes
Perform & assist in business analysis, business case and business plans.
Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations for senior management.
Liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department and IT vendors.
Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.
Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.
Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and managing product phase-in-phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio.
Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.
Utilize the appropriate technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the media best suited to their requirements.
Work in tandem with other HoD’s and team members in delivering initiatives as per the agreed roadmap.
Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes, prepare and administer work unit operating budgets; provide recommendations on desired policies and goals and implement new/revised programs according to established guidelines.

Work Experience Requirement
13 to 15 years of overall experience working in a manufacturing and/or consulting organization. More than 7 years leading information technology programs, including applications management.
Extensive CPG and FMCG experience. Prior experience of managing the above area for a manufacturing and distribution company is preferable. Person from consultancy background can be considered.
IT Finance experience in a global organisation with similar industry, service management, and supplier/client relationship management focus.
Demonstrated expertise of engaging senior finance stakeholders in all finance matters, operational, reporting and best practices.
In-depth knowledge of Accounting Practices covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing and Financial Budgeting/Consolidation and reporting.
Has worked extensively on Enterprise ERP. Oracle and/or SAP experience highly desirable.
Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and an ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate technology in simple business language.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
MBA or post graduate degree in technology/systems is desirable
Must be a Chartered Accountant.
