The Management of Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu, a degree awarding Institution, invites application from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Enugu

Responsibilities

• The Bursar shall be the chief Financial officer of the College and shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the College;
• Take charge of planning, organising. directing and coordinating the operation of the financial system of the college;
• Taking charge of the general administration of the Bursary; and
• Perform such other financial functions as the Rector may assign to him/her;

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates must possess a good first degree/HND in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption, SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L, credit in Mathematics is compulsory;
• Candidates must be duly registered member of CAN, ANAN or other equivalent professional bodies in accounting;
• Candidates is expected to have sound knowledge or experience in accounting, banking, investment arid budgetary procedure:
• Candidates must have not less than twenty three (23) years of post-qualification experience; and
• Candidate must not be below the rank of Deputy Bursar in a recognized Tertiary Institution.

Salary and conditions of Service

• Salary and conditions of service shall be in accordance with the Public Service salary structure for this category of officers.

Tenure

• Successful candidate to the office of the Bursar shall hold office for a period of four (4) years and qualify for reappointment for another four years term subject to satisfactory performance after which no more
