As a Product Manager, you will be involved in leading cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric digital products with clear business impact. You will be a core member of the digital services with end -to-end responsibility for decisions and outcomes related to one or more digital products, with a mission to shape and implement products that transform customer and employee experiences alike. He will play an important role leading agile teams to develop solutions to address meaningful business problems and opportunities, ensuring both creativity and relevance.
Responsibilities And Functions
Leads product to overall success.
Supports the business units in their business analysis to establish and validate the business cases for new products.
Observes, learns about, contacts and analyzes end users of the product to distill their needs into the product design via focus groups, UAT, etc.
Gathers and clarifies user requirements and translates them into user stories.
Manages delivery expectation with business stakeholders.
Writes new user stories.
Owns the creation and prioritization of the product backlog for specific digital products.
Specifies acceptance criteria for each user story and writes acceptance tests.
Clearly communicates the requirements to the team and gives feedback to the development team.
Facilitates release planning with stakeholders.
Participates in sprint meetings.
Builds and maintains a relationship with the stakeholders.
Tracks and measures product progress.
Coaches product teams to deliver products that deliver rapid and regular business value for the client with detailed guidance.
Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
Support Product Leads in collecting ideas and setting priorities for prototyping and development.
Experience and Qualifications
Ideal candidate should have:
At least 5+ years of strong experience owning and delivering external customer-facing digital products.
Minimum of 2 years of strong experience gathering and translating requirements between business, customers, and engineering teams.
Minimum of 2 years of data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in multiple business areas (e.g., marketing, sales, finance, operations, technology).
Background in engineering, technology, or UX preferred that comprises both solid business understanding as well as expert understanding of high-quality digital product delivery.
Previous experience as a Product Manager with software products.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior leaders.
Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them.
Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.
