PZ Cussons is an international producer of consumer products.

As part of its continuous development programme, PZ Cussons is interested in four to six vibrant, energetic and intelligent candidates that have potential to grow within the organisation and eventually take on leadership roles in our Commercial Business Unit.
Successful candidates with proven performance and interest in the roles below will be given exposure to Commercial Analysis, Sales Management and other core areas such as Customer Services, Selling Skills and Negotiation Skills, with the objective of gaining necessary skills to lead a sales team in a large listed conglomerate.

To succeed you will need to display a history of sales achievement and results. An education in Sales & Marketing Management and early work exposure is advantageous, as well as a completed or initiated professional study, e.g. CIMN etc. It is important you show an alignment to our CAN DO values (Courage, Accountability, Networking, Drive and Oneness) plus a track record of success/achievements and very strong intellectual capabilities.

  1. Area Sales Manager
    The successful candidates will be required to:
    �Consistently meet or exceed agreed business development targets.
    �Have detailed knowledge and experience in the distribution of FMCG products.
    �Develop the annual area sales plan.
    �Motivate, train and develop the local sales teams.
    �Manage and drive customers/partners towards profitable growth.
    �Identify and develop new and incremental sales business opportunities.

    The Person:
    The right candidates must:
    �Have good knowledge in distribution & customer development in the sector of FMCG.
    � Possess a good university degree in any discipline.
    �Possess first class numeric and communication skills.
    �Have excellent customer relation skills.
    �Possess three to five (3-5) years successful selling experience at sales management level.
    �Possess high levels of determination and desire to succeed in a result oriented environment.
    �Be mobile and willing to be flexible in terms of location.
    �Have a CAN 00 attitude, exhibiting our core values COURAGE, ACCOUNTABILITY, NETWORKING, DRIVE and ONENESS.

  2. Regional Sales Manager
    The Successful candidates will be required to:
    �Deliver regional sales targets and objective.
    �Execute the company's sales plans for the region, thereby ensuring profitability and growth of the company's brands in the designated region.
    �Manage and drive customers/partners in the region towards profitable growth as well as develop new ones in accordance with Company procedures.
    �Identify and explore new regional sales opportunities.
    �Develop and grow the capabilities of the sales team in the region through regular performance reviews, monitoring of objectives and ensuring development needs are identified and actioned.

    The Person:
    The ideal candidate for this position must:
    �Have a B.A. or B.Sc. Degree in Marketing/Business Studies.
    �Have five to nine (5-9) years cognate working experience in a similar position.
    �Have computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    �Have good knowledge in distribution & customer development in the
    sector of FMCG,
    �Have excellent managerial skills.
    �Have excellent planning and organising skills.
    �Have excellent customer relation skills.
    �Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    �Have good team building skills,
    �Be mobile and willing to be flexible in terms of location.
