Job Title: Metering Services Engineer

Responsibilities
Supervise and support the fabrication, installation and testing of metering skids
Carry out metering system services, Installation, Configuration, Commissioning, startup, maintenance and calibration.
Installation / Commissioning / Servicing / Proving / Validation and Calibration of Fiscal Liquid/Gas Metering Systems, Allocation Liquid/Gas Metering Systems, Well test Liquid/Gas Metering System and Flare Gas Metering Systems
Provide technical support and on the job training for the customers on the operations of the installed equipment
Responsible for executing metering systems related to PM (Preventive Maintenance) on site.
Responsible for executing metering systems related to CM (Corrective Maintenance) or Unscheduled (Breakdown) on site
Responsible for Servicing, inspection, proving, linearity test, validation and calibration of the PD Meters, Turbine Meters, Coriolis Meters, USMs, orifice meter, etc. and its associated ancillary system plant equipment, wherever applicable.
Responsible for reviewing and developing maintenance plans / work instruction for metering systems and carry out audits and periodic analyses of maintenance and calibration activities.
Responsible for Faults rectification, testing and re-commission the metering systems in accordance with the requirements of customer and DPR.
Maintain the installed base of liquid and gas metering database for all customers
Carry out metering service, Installation, Configuration, Commissioning, startup, maintenance, calibration and repair of system control panels and Field Instrumentation.
Responsible for Installation / Commissioning / Servicing / Proving / Validation and Calibration of Fiscal Liquid/gas Metering System, Allocation Liquid/gas Metering System, Well test Liquid/gas Metering System and Flare Gas Metering System
Provide technical support and on the job training for the customers on the operations of the installed equipment
Support field trials and evaluation of new metering instrumentation.
Responsible for attending to customer service calls.
Remotely assist in troubleshooting customer's metering related issues.
Travel to customer site locations and work independently on their metering systems
Provide regular communication, feedback and status updates to the Services Managers.
Keep abreast of new development in measuring technology and promote best practice sharing across company.
Responsible for meeting service revenue sales targets
Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Develop and track metering service project plans
Monitor and adhere to field service policies, procedures and technical standards.
Qualification
A good first degree in Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent with min. 7 years of metering services, instrumentation, site service support and customer handling experience.
Technical professional with significant discipline experience in oil and gas industry.
Skills Required:
Be able to perform field Installation / Commissioning / Servicing / Proving / Validation and Calibration of Fiscal Liquid/gas Metering Systems, Allocation Liquid/gas Metering Systems, Well test Liquid/gas Metering Systems and Flare Gas Metering Systems
Be skilled with all types of metering systems that include orifice, venturi, turbine, displacement, Coriolis, electromagnetic and ultrasonic, flow computers, densitometer and BS&W meters.
Be skilled in servicing, inspection, proving, linearity test, validation and calibration of the PD Meters, Turbine Meters, Coriolis Meters, USMs, orifice meter, etc. and its associated ancillary system plant equipment, wherever applicable.
Sound working knowledge of current multiphase flow meters
Be familiar with all relevant standards (ISOs, APIs, AGAs & DEPs) and calculation methodologies.
Be familiar with measurement allocation and reconciliation processes.
Be fully hands-on with field metering services and metering commissioning activities.
Must be familiar with the use of required test equipment including Field hand held communicator, Digital Multimeter, Control panel associated wiring/mechanical tools.
Experience in measurement instruments-Pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow meters; valves, advanced instrumentation.
Have a good understanding of related maintenance disciplines.
Good interpersonal, supervisory communications, leading and coordinating skills
Full understanding of HSE management principles including procedures and instructions, and its application in company.
