Report to the Field Operations Material Superintendent based in Lagos.
Trace the spare parts received in Onne base and provide support for receipt until final acceptance in the computer management system and physically in stock.
Follow-up and controls the materials movements to suit the requirements expressed by the offshore FPSO teams or the onshore based support team and coordinated by the Logistics supervisors. Ensures delivery in time and as required
Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams as well as with the contractor staff for that purpose.
Ensure that the equipment or the means of transportation are in accordance with the HSE standard and rules. It includes the control of dangerous goods, food containers, chemicals, lifting means, wastes, etc…
Responsible to inspect the food containers, report anomalies, and prevent transportation offshore of rotten food offshore.
Control the materials returning from offshore and ensures compliance with environment rules, in particular with regard to waste disposal.
Ensure the storage conditions are in accordance with the technical requirements specified by the end user. Controls the maintenance operations required to ensure the items preservation. Perform a variety of function to ensure proper preservation of spare parts and materials at the warehouse and during transit to operational site
Is involved in materials reception for the materials received from outside and due to be sent to the offshore site; initiates the technical control as necessary from suitable technical authorities or from the discipline engineers
Onne Logistic team.
Coordinates with stock controller for the registration of materials.
Carry out the registration of materials movement into the Sap based materials management system UNISUP.
Initiates services requisition as necessary for the transportation or repairs of materials as specified in the materials management procedures.
May also perform as required various SAP based transactions in the computerised materials management system.
Coordinate his activities as required with the entities supplying the stock control and computerized system services.
Coordinate with One Maintenance Supervisor for material condition issues at receipt or in stock, for transfer to and from Contractor repair shops, and any issue under the responsibility of Maintenance
Controls the non stock items to ensure they are really under temporary storage. Report to hierarchy the items which are not satisfying the minimum requirements for non-sock condition.
Supervise ad-hoc personnel from Contractor that are mobilised to assist him in the material management.
Coordinate these actions with concerned staff from both onshore and offshore sites.
Perform other functions that may be delegated to him from time to time by his hierarchy
Job Requirements
A University Degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years experience of Logistics, stock control and warehousing, with minimum 5 years experience in oil industry in operations.
Experience of Computerised Stock and Procurement management systems including some experience of SAP.
Preferably familiar with UNISUP, PM and MM modules; and with company stock management standard in general.
