Monitors and ensure that each project is carried out in line with the defined scope.
Oversees the development of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects.
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
Review the project schedule with departmental head and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems.
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment.
Ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
Ensure to convey required project data and information to project teams.
Determines the selection of resources (Personnel, equipment, etc) required to complete a project.
Develops a schedule for project mobilization and completion that effectively allocates the required resources to the activities.
Monitors and ensure each project have clearly defined objectives that are measured and evaluated at completion.
Monitors and ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate project team briefing before project mobilization.
Oversees the preparation of project communication charts.
Project Implementation:
Execute the project according to the project plan
Develop forms and records to document project activities
Prepare short and long term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
Schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results.
Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones.
Project Monitoring:
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
Monitors and track the progress and quality of work being performed by the project design team.
Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, job logs; ensuring that.it is within the budget.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
Review field inspection reports from client throughout the life cycle of the project
Oversees the set up and manages support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting and internal communication.
Oversees and reviews consolidated report on project which includes summary of the milestone.
Establishes standards, tools and procedures for use on each the project, including risk analysis, and providing information on necessary changes.
Reviews project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
Reviews substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.
Oversees the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Safety and security - the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Departmental Reports Generate the required weekly, monthly, quarterly, exception, biannually and annually reports/presentations.
Provide comprehensive, effective and efficient support to team members.
Performs other duties as required or as assigned.
Educational Qualifications
A good University First Degree is required preferably in Social Sciences.
Experience Required:
2-5 years.

Physical Demands
Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing, vision and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.

The job is performed outdoors and indoors in a traditional office setting.
