Job Title: Manager, Network Enterprise Services (NES) Strategic Project
Location: Lagos
Division: Network Group
Core Purpose of the Job
Ensure end to end successful implementation and integration of Strategic enterprise projects while coordinating with different stakeholders.
Job Summary
Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
Coordinate, coach and influence external partners and essential support departments across MTNN’s business units to deliver a seamless pre-sales and post-sales service experience.
Review Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) project charters and develop supporting project work plans /revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements as well as evaluate technical bids from contractors.
Manage installation, commissioning and integration of Customer relations projects (connect stores, connect lites), adhoc projects that may arise from EBU.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs as well as generate progress reports on projects, migrations and upgrades.
Ensure project timelines are met and resolve escalated issues affecting Enterprise installations as well as strict adherence to MTNN’s SHE policy.
Manage day-to-day operational aspect of a project and scope, and handover of completed projects to NES operations.
Oversee and coordinate all technical activities, the activities of direct reports and ensure all transaction and administrative documentation is recorded and available for business use.
Serve the Division’s internal customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
Strategic Partnerships with MTNN leadership team to drive awareness on expected behaviours and impact on non-compliance on bottom line results and company image/reputation.
Drive planned strategy for the successful delivery of MTN Group and MTNN transformation initiatives focusing on Customer centricity.
Drive an increase in MTNN’s Net Promoter Score.
Liaise with EBU, NES/Network Group operations on future strategy of platform, upgrades; and communicate to team.
Oversee and coordinate all technical activities, the activities of direct reports and ensure all transaction and administrative documentation is recorded and available for business use.

Education
First degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
Management degree advantageous
Project Management or Education Certification (PMP, Scrum Agile, etc) would be an added advantage
Professional Certification desirable in: – IT (Microsoft, ITIL, HP, Nokia etc), Quality (Six Sigma, etc)
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years’ related work experience which includes:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others
Experience working in a medium to large organization
Project management experience in IT/ Telecomm industry
Experience with ICT network integration and service deployment
