Competency: At least 9 years IT project management and delivery experience with Tier 1 Telco, Banking Customers. Experience in portal application delivery
Skill Expectation & Role Responsibility
Should have 8-9 years’ project delivery experience with overall IT experience expected is 12-14 years
Sound functional knowledge of Project delivery with certification on PMP
Familiar with Telecom processes - CRM, Sales, Supply chain, ERP
Experience in gathering requirements from client, implementing the solution and maintaining the environment for Intranet/Internet applications and making enhancements on a continuous basis, preparing training manuals and conducting training of end users on web based applications.
Experience in Portal Technologies - Liferay, Sharepoint scripting
At least 4 years’ experience as a project manager in Portal implementations for larger enterprise clients across all phases of the project life-cycle, including a global roll-out.
At least 5 years’ experience in managing project teams of 10+ FTEs, including being responsible for team staffing and performance evaluations of team resources.
Good communication skills, interpersonal skills. Schedule and coordinate the company's project resources based out of India to ensure right bench utilization and project profitability.
Work along with company's project team Technical architect, Business analysts, developers, Testers and business stakeholders managing overall deliverables of design, build, and test & deploy implementation of liferay portal solution, conforming to the clients Project Delivery Framework and default information security framework.
Experience in using and managing Test management suites like HP ALM, Project management Tools , MS Project
Liaison with Test lead, Project manager, Portal development team of company based out of India as well as collaborating with company's onshore BA and architect
Work in collaboration with customers testing team, deployment teams and IT project owners
The ability to manage software development with an off-shore development team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Leadership and strong team working skills.

Excellent hands-on experience dealing with the onsite – offshore model and client interaction.
