Job Title: Key Account Partner
Location: Lagos
Job Description
To ensure sustainable and profitable relationship with Key Accounts and Strategic Partners
Creating diverse access / opportunities for business growth leveraging on key account partners space including product launch, brand visibility proposition dissemination, etc.
Develop timely and accurate forecast (volume and spend) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year to analyze facts and figure
Focusing on growing and developing existing clients together with generating new business.
Maintain a long term relationship with accounts and maximize sales opportunities within them.
Plan an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients
Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.
Write business plan for all current and opportunity tender business.
Implement strategy for continuous growth of assigned Key Account and Strategic partners.
Deploy effective negotiating skills to penetrate ALL levels of strategic accounts
Identify sales opportunities, networking and fact-finding and calling on and closing new accounts.
Communicate approved retail activities, promotional plans, merchandising and new item authorizations with the retail team to ensure flawless execution Supervise competitors performance and activities and implement strategies.
Maintain and update customer contact records.
Coordinate and develop product presentations.
Provide information to customers regarding appropriate policies, procedures and operating practices; as well as competitor activities
Evaluate customer complaints and drive corrective actions.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Act as key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
Participate in national and regional sales meetings as required and update key stakeholders were need be
Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
Foster active collaboration and relationships with employees across all levels and divisions in line with MTNs VB and values.

Tool of trade vehicle provided
Work is carried out mostly in the field
A valid drivers license (Extensive local travel)
Experience & Training
Education:
A First degree preferably in the social sciences
Fluent in English
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in an area of specialisation; with experience working with others
Experience working in a medium organization
Experience in a fast moving consumer goods (FCMG) environment
Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level
Account Management experience and relationship building skills
Knowledge of evolution in the digital space, smartphone trends etc.
Previous experience in account management or territory sales
Highly self-motivated
