Due to internal vacancies, the Ghanaian office has decided to search for a Regulatory Affairs Manager

Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager (Ghana)

Reports to: Country Manager

Job Summary
Provides effective regulatory management to the assigned countries and projects for product registration and licence maintenance

Main Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits and monitors new registration and licence applications within agreed timeframes
• Monitors and influences registration progress to expedite and optimise the outcome and from registration approval, on, ensures the continuing validity of the way the registration is used throughout the product life-cycle.
• Contribute to maintenance of various forms of labelling e.g. provides Basic Product Information (BPI) for established products and challenges Corporate drafts, providing the local country standpoint.
• Provides regulatory advice to Corporate and relevant country on all aspects of registration, development and licence maintenance work.
• Proactively builds relationships externally and internally, so that business needs are met.

• Effective leadership of regulatory projects
• Performance management of regulatory processes to meet agreed deadlines and milestones.

Profile
In respect of the ideal candidate profile:

• Fluent English
• Experience from the region is a must

Impact on the organisation:
Supports overall development of licenses and submission of regulatory files locally and for Sandoz in the region as a whole and accountable for providing accurate regulatory support

Educational Background

• Life Sciences Degree or other relevant education
• Dependant on individual aptitude but would normally expect at least 5-7 years’ experience of a broad range of regulatory work in the ethical Pharmaceutical industry
