The Beauty Supply Store Manager will be responsible for efficient running and profitability of the salon as well as product sales, merchandising and delivery and customer service management.
He/She will ensure that hairdressing standards and product sales and application standards as well as clients services are carried out according to the company’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
To effectively manage the stores material and human resources, and ensuring maximum profitability of the business unit including expenditure salon overheads as laid down by the organization.
Manage the on time supply of beauty and product services to all internal and external customers on a daily basis.
Rendering and managing the quality of customer service to clients at all times is maintained and constantly reviewed.
Ensure that the salon is updated on current fashion/hairdressing trends and techniques.
Ensure that hair products available for sale are well-stocked and always available
Ensuring that stylists adhere to basic utilization of hair care products on in delivery of quality styles for customers.
To advise clients of all products available for retail purchase, in order that they keep their hair in good condition.
Responsible for ordering stock, including maintaining stock levels and to ensure that staffs are aware of this. To follow guidelines on controlling and accounting for stock, ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately.
Ensure the Salon’s cleanliness and maintenance at all times.
To communicate through all staff levels e.g. Stylists, Apprentices, the Company policies and procedures, Company’s future plans, Management’s satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
Observe and evaluate workers’ appearance and performance to ensure quality service and compliance with specifications.
To encourage and motivate all staff to maximum potential, both technically and professionally for their individual benefit and future growth of the company.
Responsible for controlling petty cash expenditure and ensuring that receipts are obtained for expenses and that all petty cash expenditure are authorized.
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate in any discipline from a reputable university.
5 - 7 years experience as a fashion stylist, salon assistant, assistant manager locally or internationally.
Must have excellent customer management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to analyze beauty range opportunities.
Must have good communication skills.
Strong hair care product knowledge
Ability to pay attention to details.
Strong understanding of hair care markets and latest trends in the industry
Team oriented and outgoing
