Job Title: Principal Programme Officer Institutional Cooperation and Joint Secretariat
Reference: ECW-COMM/REC/MEP-P/001/2012

Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Department: Macro-Economic Policy
Directorate: Multilateral Surveillance
Grade: P5
Annual Salary: USD 52,273 - USD 59,100
Supervisor: Director, Multilateral Surveillance

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures planning and implementation of project activities;
Collects, analyzes and collates national reports of the National Coordination Committees on multilateral surveillance;
Draw up bi-annual implementation reports of multilateral surveillance;
Draws up Monitoring and Evaluation reports;
Executes all tasks are carried-out as required by superior officers.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields
Minimum of ten years post-qualification experience, of which two years must have been at a management level in the areas of executing multilateral surveillance missions.
Proven experience in drawing up a multilateral surveillance report.
Proven working experience in public finance and formation of economic policies.
Proven experience in the use of tools for forecasting and macroeconomics analysis.
Candidates should not be 50 years old or over at the point of recruitment and must be a citizen of one of the ECOWAS member states.
Must be fluent in one of the official languages of the Commission; English, French and Portuguese. A working knowledge of another would be an advantage.
