Pls, let stop discrimination, give both Polytechnic and University graduate equal opportunity especially those that have minimum of upper credit. I'm assuring you that some Polytechnic graduates are far better than their University counterpart. Thanks

Do you want to tell nigerians that university graduates are better than their polytechnic counterparts? Just imagine, an organisation that is preaching equal opportunities in their recruitment excercise.

YOU claimed you don't discriminate but you actually discriminate on the bases of age. How many Nigerian graduates who have finished their NYSC are within the age of 26? You force people to forge certificate when you make unnecessary and biased discrimination.

To me,i once believe you can knock as many doors as you can before one can open.but i have been proven wrong and i can't continue knocking rather wil work out something and employ others. What has age got to do with job knowing fully well how our education system is structured.26yrs of age d limit 2 get a job.ok.my question is with failures in securing addmission into higher institution, strikes dat is d order of d day, delay in serving d father land, how wil d person b 25yrs or 26yrs having pass 2ru these rough hurdles.it was smoothe with u,does not mean it is with others.Again, every body cannot be a university graduate n ur G.p cannot show what one can do until u put both to taste.let's stop this discrimin
atn and offer every body equal opportunity.

Stanbic IBTC Bank! Why contradicting yourselves? You are already discriminating on account of age (26),grade (2.1) etc. Given thesame conducive environment, financial status, Educational Institutions' deficiencies, infrastrucural facilities, etc., those with 2.2 may perform far better than the ones with 2.1 now. Why not gather them together and let them compete for your few vacancies. Then you will be surprised. Furthermore, grading modalities in one school is quite different from that of others, especially in Nigeria where quality of education is questionable. So, my dear beloved bankers, please have a re-think and let 2.2 candidates and those under 30 years compete; then you will see that I am not wrong afterall.

On the Diversity Monitoring section of the questionnaire, the'state of origin' field is short of two states. Lagos and one other that I am yet figured out. Being applicant from Lagos state, how do I get past this stage,as this field is required, and there is a stern warning of disqualification in an event of false information/declaration. That's the dilemma I am in. Thanks

LOOK! Look!! Look!!! The question about discrimination by employers has reached unimaginably negative proportions but is that why OND and HND graduates should be sarcastic in their comments? I like the way Orija Kayode used his words while expressing his displeasure: "some Poly graduates are better than their University counterparts". ABSOLUTELY TRUE and I totally agree with you but Tunde's question: "you want to tell Nigerians that University graduates are better than their Polytechnic counterparts?" is not a civil way of attacking the situation. Is your problem the employers or the University graduates? Even the Uni graduates are still being discriminsted against so your attack shoudn't be on the graduates from Universities. I feel there is the need for all job seekers to team up as this war can not be won when there is a huge chasm amongst them. I am a witness to what happened between a young man and his uncle some time ago. The young man had a 2:1 but the uncle, on going through his CV sent word to him at the gate that he would have been able to help him if only he had a First Class. i have also witnessed a young man who had a Pass working in one of the high paying american oil companies in Port-Harcourt. Check this out. Most of the employers themselves did not score up to upper credit or 2:2 upon graduation. It is only GOD who can fix a man and not another man.
