Each time i read posts on this site, i'm always irked at the very poor communication skills of job-seeking Nigerian graduates. Poor grammar, bad expressions & very weak logical reasoning seem to be the hallmark of their posts. And i wonder: where is our education? Pls, don't let the side down.

Hello Tguy, the essence of this page is not for a graduate to start exhibiting his|her grammar skills, showing great English expressions or trying to make a show off of their reasoning potentials. I think this column is about you asking relevant questions as the concern you and getting the help where, when and how necessary. Also it is an avenue for fresh graduate to bare their minds on the entire failure of the Nigerian systems.IT IS WELL!!!

The HND holders were not considered. I don't know why. I want them to understand that there is no difference between Bsc n' HND holders. I am a Chemical Engineer, through with my NYSC. A HND holder. So what do i do because of this discrepancy.

I just want us 2 correct this notion of 2:1 & 2:2. Many graduates with 2:2 are far better than 2:1 since many of them are just victims of circumstances. So let us be asking of grade point alongside d class of degree. I know of someone who graduated with 3.47 just because he couldn't beg or bribe lecturers for marks 2 push him up while many who could afford to graduated with 2:1 in his set thru hook & crook.
No. 33
Posted on Wed 10th Aug, 2011 09:54:37 GMT by sophia

I quite agree with you Victor! most persons with 2.2 are victims of bad situations beyond them,it is an obvious fact that some so called 2.1 graduates are not even better than 3rd class graduates. Its a pity that these companies cant change their concept about this despite the fact that they know this very well! CHEERS!

It's unfair leavin the polytechnic graduate aside.
Atleast we should be among the applicant because I see no reason why the B.sc should vary from the HND.both are graduate and in terms of engineering the both spend thesame duration in school.besides the HND do better than the B.SC holders ,it's just the discrimination attached to it.pls we should be considered as well. Thanks
