Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes of studies in Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru for 2017/2018 Academic Session:

Two (2) Years Full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes obtainable in College of Science and Technology (CST), Main Campus, Zungeru

• Science Laboratory Technology with the following options:
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Biochemistry/Chemistry
  • Biochemistry/Microbiology
  • Microbiology
  • Physics/Electronics
• Computer Science:
  • Electrical Engineering Technology with the following options:
  • Power/machine
  • Telecommunications/Electronics
• Statistics
• Estate management & Valuation
• Urban and Regional Planning

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in the specified field are:

• Programmes in National Diploma (ND) in relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit grade Obtained from recognized institution, Plus five (5) relevant credits at WAEC/SSCE. NECO, OCE, NABTEB or teachers’ Grade Two Certificate
• A minimum of one (1) year post National Diploma (ND) cognate working experience (industrial training).
• All applicants (except those who obtained their ND from Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru) are to send transcripts of their National
• Diploma (ND) under confidential covers to the Registrar, Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru to ease consideration of their admission.

One (1) Year full time IJMB Programmes

• The Polytechnic runs one (1) year full time IJMB programmes in three (3) combinable subjects in Natural and Applied Sciences. Engineering and Liberal Arts leading to possible undergraduate courses in Universities.

Entry Requirements
The Minimum entry requirements for IJMB programmes in the specified field are:

• WAEC/SSCE. NECO, OCE. NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two certificate with at least five (3) credit passes or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings) in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

One (1) Year full Time Pre-National Diploma in all accredited ND Programmes run in both Main Campus, Zungeru and CABS, Bida Campus of the Polytechnic

• The Pre-National Diploma Programme is designed to prepare candidates for subsequent admission into all full-time National Diploma programmes run in both campuses

Entry Requirements

• WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE NABTEB and teachers’ Grade two Certificate with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

Note: All Pre-National Diploma candidates are advised to register for JAMB and present evidence of such registration.

One (1) year full-time Remedial Programme

• The Remedial Programme is designed to prepare candidates to remedy their O’level credits deficiencies.

Entry Requirements

• WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE. NABTEB and teachers’ Grade two Certificate with at least two (2) credit and three (3) passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

Two (2) years Full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes obtainable in College of Administrative and Business Studies (CABS), Bida Campus

• Accountancy
• Business and Management Studies
• Public Administration.

Entry Requirements

• As in entry requirements for HND programme obtainable in Main Campus, Zungeru above.

Two (2) years Full-time Polytechnic Diploma (OND) Programme obtainable in College of Science and Technology, Main Campus. Zungeru

• Diploma in Survey and Geo-informatics.

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for Polytechnic Diploma (OND) Programmes in the Specified field are:

• A minimum of five(5) Credits passes at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, (iCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings), which must include English Language and Mathematics and there 3) other relevant subjects.

Two (2) years Full-time Polytechnic Diploma (OND) Programme obtainable in College of Administrative and Business Studies, CABS, Bida Campus

• Diploma in Office Technology Management (OTM)
• Diploma in Social Development Studies (SDS)
• Diploma in Hospitality Management (l-lM)
• Diploma in Library and Information Science (LIS)

Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for Polytechnic Diploma (OND) Programmes in the specified field are:

• A minimum of five (5) credits Passes at WAE/SSCE, NECO. GCE, NABTEB and teachers’ Grade Two Certificate or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings), which must includes English Language and Mathematics and Three (3) other relevant subjects.
