Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements for Postgraduate Diploma Programme

• Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at the O-Levels.
• An Applicant must have a relevant Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University not lower than Third Class; or
• Bachelor''s Degree with at least Second Class Lower division in area not related to the field applying for may be considered.
• Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of merit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.

Entry Requirements for Academic Master's Degree Programme

• Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at the O-Levels.
• Possession of a First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized University in the relevant field with a minimum of Second Class Lower
• A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with not less than a CGPA of 3.50

Entry Requirements for Professional Master's Degree Programme

• Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at the O-Levels.
• Possesion of a first degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in the relevant field with a minimum of second class honours may be admitted.
• A candidate with Third Class degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognized institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.

Interested candidates for all the Postgraduate programmes should log into the Kaduna State University School of Postgraduate Studies Portal pg.kasu.edu.ng and follow the below procedures:

• Begin your application by creating a profile, check your email for confirmation and your login details which consists of username and password.
• Pay your processing fees and obtain a PIN NUMBER at Zenith Bank Plc at Kano Road and Yakubu Gowon Way branches in Kaduna. You will be given a pin slip.
• Continue your application by logging in with your profile details.
• Fill the application form, submit and download copies.
• The University will not enter into correspondence on its decision with any candidate.
• Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to produce originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
