We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Brand and Marketing Executive

Location: Nigeria

The Position

The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic professional who can offer quick accurate advice and provide creative input to help advance our brands.
This role has marketing responsibilities to develop and execute marketing programs that increase brand identity and brand awareness of the company and products.
Plan, strategize and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market
Define product strategies and road maps
Develop effective positioning in the market
Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
Launch and oversee advertising and media planning
Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media etc.), exhibitions and promotional events
Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystalize targeted consumers insights
Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
Anticipate bottlenecks
Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

Requirements

B.Sc/B.A in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant discipline
Proven experience as a brand marketing executive or similar role
Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Creativity and commercial awareness
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
