Job description
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the Operations Manager will lead the operations of the new business to a successful start-up. Help setup an operations team, maximise efficiency of the data centre operations and maintain 100% uptime of the service in line with objectives and commitments to clients.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Establish, up-date, implement & monitor the execution of the Company’s short, medium & long term strategic plans, with its objective positioning as a reliable data centre company for Nigeria.
- Through direct reports, ensure submission of annual and monthly budgets, and implement as approved.
- Establish an effective organisational structure necessary to deliver performance, quality service, and client satisfaction essential to achieve the Strategic Plan and Annual Budget objectives.
- Recruit and develop the appropriate team, compatible with the strategic plan, essential to deliver on performance targets.
- Ensure the financial stability of the Company, compatible with pre-determined cash-flow forecasts and available resources.
- Foster & develop client relationships.
- Delivering profits to the shareholders in line with agreed targets.
